Timothy E. EgererTimothy E. Egerer is a 1973 Cum Laude graduate of Wheeling Jesuit University in Wheeling, West Virginia. He attended the Wayne State University School of Law, receiving his Juris Doctor degree in 1977. He is fully licensed by the State Bar of Michigan and has been a member in good standing from 1977 to the present. He is also a member of the Oakland, Wayne and Macomb County Bar Associations.

From 1979 to 2012, Mr. Egerer was a member of the law firm of Romain, Kuck and Egerer, P.C. in Southfield, Michigan, first as an Associate Attorney then as a Partner/Shareholder then as a Director and finally serving as its President and Managing Partner from 1997 to 2012.

From the time he first began his active practice of law, Mr. Egerer has concentrated his area of specialty in personal injury and property damage civil litigation, representing both the Plaintiffs or the Defendants (or their insurance carriers). These cases have covered a wide array of practice areas including No-Fault first party PIP benefits, No-Fault third party auto tort liability, premises liability (including homeowners, apartments, condominiums, commercial and businesses), property damage (including arson), contracts, insurance and general liability (including animal inflicted injury, assault, defamation, construction, Dram Shop and social host liability, landlord/tenant liability, malicious prosecution, sports and recreational liability, harassment, discrimination and wrongful death). During the course of his career, Mr. Egerer has tried to conclusion well over 200 jury trials throughout the State of Michigan in all of these same practice areas.

Mr. Egerer has also been approved as a Case Evaluator in Oakland, Wayne and Macomb Counties for several decades and has participated in hundreds of Mediations and Arbitrations throughout his career, as Counsel for either the Plaintiff or the Defendant. He has also been appointed as other Parties’ and their Counsels’ chosen Mediator/Facilitator or Neutral, Plaintiff or Defendant Arbitrator in hundreds of cases over that same period of time.

Since July, 2012, Mr. Egerer has established a full time ADR practice under the firm name of Timothy E. Egerer and Associates, PLC. Most importantly, Mr. Egerer’s Mediation/Facilitation success rate was 87% in 2012, 91% in 2013, 95% in 2014, 93% in 2015, and 95% in 2016.
